Late Shri Rameshwar Das Singla (Founder)
A pharma graduate and visionary entrepreneur, Late Shri Rameshwar Das Singla founded the organisation in 1982 (then BIOLENS) at a time when ophthalmic implant manufacturing in India was still in its infancy. Armed with deep technical expertise in biocompatible materials and elastomers, he led the development of intraocular lenses through in-house innovation and precision manufacturing.
He proudly holds the distinction of manufacturing the first intraocular lens (IOL) in Punjab at his own facility, a milestone that positioned the company as a pioneer in Indian ophthalmic manufacturing. His principles of technical integrity, clinical responsibility, and uncompromising quality remain deeply embedded in Biocare’s DNA.
Er. Bikram Singla (Director & Owner)
An engineering graduate from Thapar University, Patiala, Er. Bikram Singla represents the second generation of leadership — combining technical insight with strategic foresight. Under his stewardship, Biocare transitioned from pure manufacturing into a national-level ophthalmic solutions company, forging partnerships with leading global brands while significantly expanding its product portfolio.
